Question:
If It is impossible to achieve Swaraaj without national reform, then
can you tell us what should be done to accelerate this reform? I guess
this is not possible in a short period of time. Isn't it?
Shri Shri Thakur: This can be achieved in a short period of time as well. However, that will depend on the pace of reform, on the associated activities. Activity means to apply energy in the right way.1
We have to bring about a progressive mood in the society along with marriage reform and industry. For proper health management we should stress upon normal diet and mode of living, normal exercise through activity and elevative engagement. The industries should be set up on the basis of service, profitable management and continuity. Since all these can only come from proper education, therefore in education we should specifically introduce elevative intellectualism beside practical and industrial training. Just like the way a being can be divided in three different aspects – psychological, physical and dynamic, – similarly our education, health, society and industry – each one should be divided into three aspects.
Question : You are talking about nation building. Where is spirituality here?
Shri Shri Thakur: Each one of it has got a psychological aspect, and so spirituality, in the form of introspective or causative inspection, is verily there.
