WITH SRI SRI THAKUR: PRATUL-DIPTI (BY SRI MANILAL CHAKRABORTY):
SATURDAY, JULY 29, 1961: PART 2: PERFORMING AS HE INSTRUCTS
A doctor named Sri Srish Ch. Kar from 24 Parganas asked Sri Sri Thakur for permission to leave.
As he was departing Sri Sri Thakur asked Parameswar Paulda, “Hey! Has the man left?”
Parameswar Paulda called the man back to Sri Sri Thakur.
Sri Sri Thakur asked Srishda if the blue china rose was available in his village.
Srishda, “No, Father! The blue china rose is not available in my village.”
Sri Sri Thakur, “Search and you will find out.”
Srishda, “Yes, I will search for it.”
Sri Sri Thakur, “Look towards the sun with that blue china rose and sing the hymn of the sun. Worship and bow down to it for seven consecutive days when the sun rises.”
Srishda, “Yes, I shall do it, Lord! Kindly give me your blessings. I see nothing but restlessness and danger in the future. The positions of my planets are not good.”
Sri Sri Thakur, “You must perform what I have instructed you to do.”
(In this connection it is to be noted that within a few days Srishda came again and told Sri Sri Thakur, “Lord! I have done what you have said and I am now free from danger and restlessness. I feel well.”
Sri Sri Thakur (happily), “Well, you have been saved by the blessings of the Lord.”)
Susil Boseda, “A brother has written a letter from Calcutta. His care became uncontrollable when it was going from Dum Dum to Calcutta. It hit a man and then a tree. The passengers escaped narrowly without any injury. But the man who was hit died within half an hour. The brother is extremely sorry about this. He wishes to know what he should do now?”
Sri Sri Thakur, “It is really a matter of deep sorrow. By the blessings of the Lord they all have escaped. Now the only practical thing he can do is to help the dead man’s family. He has no other alternative.”
Sri Sri Thakur (to Manchai Mukherjeeda), “Don’t you know Hindi?
Manchaida, “No, only a few words.”
Sri Sri Thakur, “ Learn Hindi so that you can give lectures in that language.” (To be continued)
