Science and religion (Dharma) are not opposed to each other.
That which upholds human existence is dharma. It is the duty of dharma to
overcome ignorance but whatever progress we may make in the field of science,
‘Beyond’ will remain for ever so also the agony for that. If man wants to
eradicate the sufferings, through the means of scientific instruments, then why
should not he make use of his own physical body, so full of vitality, the best
and finest of all instruments which is at his own disposal as the blessings of
the Almighty? No scientific investigation can be said to be perfect, which does
not take account the culture of keeping the human bio-psychic system healthy,
sensitive and tolerable. From this perspective you may as well say Dharma is
Science.
I feel, success is inevitable if we give correct direction after
thinking and considering pros and cons rightly. Science is science. Where
whatever is appropriate, if it is properly implemented, then right kind of
result is bound to follow. If anything appears in my intuition, then and there,
I want to carry out the same through you and arrive at the conclusion. Because,
of what gain it is to me if your knowledge, experience and power of judgment is
not expanded? I wish that you should learn to carry out scientific
investigation flawlessly. I want this kind of convention to flourish under your
guidance’s. There will be no more ignorance. People can live well. Your
intuition also will grow if you carry on spiritual culture and scientific
investigation simultaneously. Even at that stage also you have to keep watch so
that the scientific approach and interpretation is not discontinued. Otherwise
people may worship you like God but you will not be able to make any dent into
their superstitious way of life. There by you cannot do any lasting good to
them.
